Intercultural Music Book Series
The Intercultural Music series of books is based on "new intercultural music", the theme for the Biennial International Symposium and Festival organised by the Centre of Intercultural Music Arts. Each volume consists of edited essays relevant to the theme and
includes the perspectives of composers, scholars, musicians, and educators concerned with intercultural music in the latter part of the 20th century and beyond.
The first three volumes were jointly edited by Cynthia Tse Kimberlin and Akin Euba. Beginning with volume 4, Robert Mawuena Kwami is assuming the duties of editor and Cynthia Tse Kimberlin as Editor-in Chief of the series. Also, essays contained in future volumes, including those in volume 4, will undergo a review process prior to acceptance for publication.
